Associate - Mergers & Acquisitions - San Francisco

Responsibilities

• Advises clients in a variety of complex and transformative transactions.
• Develops, structures, and finances a wide range of transactions.
• Attends internal and client meetings, negotiations, and due diligence sessions.
• Produces analysis and models on leveraged buyouts, discounted cash flows, mergers and acquisitions accretion and dilution, and multiple valuation.
• Prepares memoranda for internal and external use.
• Analyzes financial data and conducts research of targeted industries.
• Aids in the execution and coordination of complex transactions and time-sensitive processes, including due diligence and valuation analysis.
• Drafts client marketing and pitch materials.
• Maintains active involvement and participation in client facing situations and negotiations.
• Provides mentorship and development to junior staff.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated and team-oriented with excellent leadership records.
• Strong background in financial modeling, finance, and accounting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding project management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Experience in sell-side mergers and acquisitions.
