Associate Merchandise Planner (BEAUTYSPACE)
Sales Analysis
The Associate Merchandise Planner will analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends for Prestige beauty retailers. They will identify opportunities and risks to inform merchandise planning decisions.
Demand Forecasting
Assist in developing accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and promotional activities. Adjust forecasts as needed to optimize inventory levels.
Inventory Management
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability. Collaborate with the supply chain team to coordinate replenishment and minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
Assortment Planning
Support the development of product assortments that align with customer preferences and sales goals. Ensure that assortments are tailored to the unique needs of our Prestige retailers.
Promotional Planning
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities. Analyze the impact of promotions on sales and inventory levels and adjust plans accordingly.
Reporting
Generate regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and key metrics. Provide insights and recommendations to the merchandising and sales teams.
Vendor Relations
Coincide with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products. Communicate any changes in demand or inventory needs to vendors.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the merchandising, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and support for merchandising initiatives.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve merchandise planning processes and systems. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
