About the role

We are looking for passionate Mental Health Therapists to join our Ellie Mental Health Clinic in Greenwood, IN. The ideal candidate shares our passion for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and thrives in a culture that values autonomy, flexibility, creativity, authenticity, humor, compassion, respect for diversity, acceptance, and determination. We encourage applications from all awesome therapists, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals.

Ellie Mental Health offers individual, couples, family, and group therapy through a hybrid model of in-person and telehealth services.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses and implement treatment plans.
  • Maintain updated documentation using company platforms and EHR.
  • Schedule a minimum of 31 client sessions per week (with the ability to see more if desired) for a diverse population.
  • Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with a dynamic team to further our mission of filling gaps in the community.
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
  • Coordinate care for assigned clients to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in clinical staff meetings, trainings, supervision, and community outreach.
  • Engage in community involvement and maintain a sense of humor and fun in the workplace.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 1 year of experience and a clinical licensure in the state of Indiana (LSW, LMHCA, LMFTA).
  • Experience with intake assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
  • General knowledge of community resources and insurance billing.
  • Familiarity with Apple products, EHR, telehealth, and other software platforms.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

We value creativity, collaboration, and a passion for changing mental health care in fun and meaningful ways. If you don’t meet every requirement but are excited about this opportunity, we encourage you to apply—studies show that women and people of color often hesitate to apply unless they meet all qualifications. Ellie is devoted to building an inclusive and diverse workplace where authenticity is celebrated.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with flexibility and autonomy to create your own schedule for a healthy work/life balance.
  • Hybrid in-person and telehealth client sessions.

  • Clinical licensure supervision and Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
  • Exclusive Ellie Match tool for individualized caseload management.
  • Competitive compensation packages, including commission.
  • Benefits package with PTO and paid holidays.
  • Meaningful, challenging work on a fun and collaborative team.

Employee Experience

At Ellie, we prioritize the well-being of our team. We offer industry-leading wages, reasonable caseload expectations, and a supportive environment to prevent burnout and emotional fatigue. Our core values—humor, creativity, authenticity, acceptance, determination, and compassion—are not just for our clients but are also central to our workplace culture.
