Associate Mental Health Clinician

This position is within the Adult Continuum of Care (ACC) division and serves Fresno County (including Fresno and surrounding cities).

Responsibilities

• Assess the immediate and ongoing needs of youth and families and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy services using trauma‑informed and client‑centered approaches.
• Facilitate treatment team meetings, support crisis intervention, and help connect clients and families with appropriate resources and services.
• Deliver services in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, community locations, and the office, and participate in an on‑call rotation to provide support during crises.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from an accredited college or university.
• Active registration with the California BBS as an Associate (AMFT, ACSW, or APCC) (or licensure as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC for higher‑level positions).
• At least one (1) year of direct service experience in a mental health setting (relevant student internship or practicum hours count toward this requirement).
• Experience working in a community‑based therapy setting is preferred.

Requirements

• Valid California Driver’s License and compliance with Agency driving eligibility criteria.

Pay

Starting compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 USD per year.

Schedule

4‑day/10‑hour schedule (Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday), based on availability; hours may vary to meet client needs.
