About the Role
Join eHealth’s Member Loyalty Team as a seasonal unlicensed Associate Member Advocate. In this temporary position, you will guide customers through the post-enrollment journey, handle inbound and outbound calls, and provide exceptional support to enhance member satisfaction and retention. This role ends on December 8, 2026.
You must be available to work 5:00 AM–6:00 PM PST, including weekends, and extended hours/overtime during the Annual Enrollment Period (October 15–December 7). Outbound outreach is required.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer service calls from existing members, addressing plan questions, resolving carrier-member issues, and providing information about complimentary services.
- Verify enrollment of new clients and complete post-enrollment activities to assist customers with their newly enrolled plans.
- Identify and resolve member issues efficiently to ensure a positive experience.
- Assist members with questions about their current plan, explain benefits, and guide them on how to use them.
- Make outbound calls using a dialer to complete post-enrollment activities and help members utilize plan benefits.
- Accurately use on-screen scripts and tools to find client information, answer questions, and document interaction notes and outcomes.
- Demonstrate eHealth’s values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Requirements
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or similar environment.
- Ability to handle high call volumes and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using a dialer and other computer applications.
- High-speed hardwired home internet connection (50 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload).
- High level of integrity and customer focus.
- Comfort with desktop computers, including Office applications and web browsing.
- Ability to work any shift between 5:00 AM–6:00 PM PST, including weekends and extended hours/overtime during the Annual Enrollment Period.
Pay
This role pays $22 per hour and is employed through a third-party staffing vendor.
