Associate Medical Director
About the role
We are seeking an Associate Medical Director to join our growing team in the United States. The role involves acting as a scientific and content lead across one or more client accounts, delivering strategically aligned publications that meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and impact.
Responsibilities
- Combine hands-on scientific content development with strategic advisory responsibilities, supporting publication planning and delivering a range of oncology-focused outputs (eg, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, congress deliverables, and associated materials).
- Mentor and support a high-performing team, providing content oversight and supporting business development activities.
Requirements
- Strong scientific credentials (PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent)
- Substantial experience in medical communications publications, including publication strategy and development
- Confidence partnering with clients and advising senior stakeholders
- Excellent scientific writing and review skills, with strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop others (informal or formal line management experience)
- Strong organizational skills and commercial awareness, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative approach and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
