Associate Medical Director

About the role

inFORME healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist, Associate Medical Director (Internal/Family Medicine) to join a well-established, prestigious group known for clinical excellence and outcomes in a 35-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital. The physician will oversee the medicine team, help lead the clinical framework and processes of the hospital, and diagnose and treat patients in a collegiate, compassionate, patient-centered environment alongside a tenured, cohesive interdisciplinary clinical team. This opportunity offers excellent work-life balance with highly flexible shifts (5–6 hours in lieu of a traditional 12-hour shift) and the option for APP support as census grows. Great for supplemental or full-time work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the medicine team and provide clinical leadership as Associate Medical Director
• Help lead the clinical framework, processes, and quality initiatives of the hospital
• Diagnose and treat patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Collaborate with a tenured, interdisciplinary clinical team
• Work alternating weeks with other providers (10–15 shifts per month)

Requirements

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (Board Eligible accepted)
• Inpatient hospitalist experience required
• Leadership background required
• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital experience preferred

Schedule

• 10–15 shifts per month, alternating weeks with other providers
• 7-on / 7-off rotation
• Shifts are 5–6 hours (flexible start/end times) in lieu of a 12-hour shift requirement
• Highly flexible scheduling; option for APP support as census grows

Compensation

• Associate Medical Director stipend
• Shift reimbursement with RVU incentive
