Associate - Material Handling- Day Shift

Pay or shift range: $20 USD to $27 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

We are actively seeking a Material Handler to join our growing team at our Westfield, MA facility. If you are looking for a new opportunity with a leading packaging company, ProAmpac is looking for you.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all production machines and stock with raw materials and work-in-process as needed, using clamp and/or fork trucks.
• Use hand-held scanners and desktop computers for maintaining machine schedules, transferring material, and processing paperwork.
• Receive raw materials using clamp and/or fork trucks.
• Ship finished goods using clamp and/or fork trucks.
• Pump resin from hopper cars to silo.
• Remove, sort, and recycle scrap waste.
• Perform other housekeeping and/or manufacturing-related functions as required by management.
• Drive the company-owned/leased truck between plant locations.
