About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. This team operates at the intersection of social media, creator marketing, and discovery commerce, directly influencing how millions of parents, teachers, and families discover our brands. Responsibilities
- Partner with the Marketing Manager to turn social, content, creator, affiliate, and discovery commerce strategies into actionable operating plans, timelines, and workflows.
- Own and improve the integrated marketing calendar process to create visibility across social media, content, creator partnerships, affiliate marketing, Ecommerce, Sales, Creative Services, and agency partners.
- Manage planning systems, communication rhythms, and workflow processes to align marketing activities on priorities, deliverables, timing, and campaign objectives.
- Maintain and implement reporting routines, dashboards, scorecards, and stakeholder updates to make marketing performance clear and actionable.
- Analyze performance across social media, content, influencer, affiliate, and discovery commerce programs to identify trends, opportunities, and recommendations that support brand awareness, engagement, conversion, and business goals.
- Create clear communication processes, including regular status updates and recap emails, to help internal teams understand priorities, campaign performance, and upcoming initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase accountability, reduce friction, improve cross-functional communication, and enhance team efficiency as the function scales.
- Monitor consumer, creator, platform, and competitive trends to inform future social operations, content planning, creator strategy, and reporting recommendations.
- Collaborate with Creative Services, Ecommerce, Sales, Marketing Coordinators, and agency partners to support integrated execution and ensure clarity and alignment.
Key Performance Objectives
- Develop and maintain integrated planning processes and workflows to improve team alignment, execution, and visibility across marketing initiatives.
- Create dashboards, scorecards, and stakeholder reporting to deliver actionable insights and support business decision-making.
- Coordinate marketing priorities, timelines, and performance updates to drive alignment across Marketing, Ecommerce, Sales, Creative Services, and agency partners.
- Identify and implement scalable systems, communication frameworks, and operational efficiencies to increase accountability, collaboration, and team effectiveness within the first 12 months and beyond.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of social media, content marketing, creator/influencer programs, affiliate marketing, discovery commerce, and performance reporting, with the ability to connect channel activities to business outcomes.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to connect marketing activity, consumer behavior, channel performance, and company priorities.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with experience building workflows, planning systems, calendars, and repeatable processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data, timelines, and priorities into clear updates for cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Data-driven and analytically minded, with experience developing reports, dashboards, scorecards, and recommendations that support decision-making.
- Highly collaborative and skilled at building relationships across Marketing, Ecommerce, Sales, Creative Services, agencies, and other internal partners.
- Results-oriented and accountable, with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of business goals.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and creating structure around changing priorities, evolving campaigns, and cross-functional needs.
Pay
Compensation range: $68,000 – $78,000 annual salary. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skill set, and location. Total compensation includes profit-sharing bonus potential, 401k matching, and a variety of other benefits.
