Responsibilities
Captures the attention of engineering, manufacturing, and supply teams by developing and guiding the program manufacturing and tooling plan.
Identifies and implements advanced manufacturing technologies to improve manufacturing processes in support of the type design.
Utilizes process engineering principles and techniques to develop, establish, and guide requirements for assembly, tooling simulations, and manufacturing configurations.
Conducts trade and cost studies and collaborates with integrated product and process teams to lead initiatives.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 2+ years of related engineering experience
- Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of engineering systems and deployment of the Continuous Improvement Toolset
- Detailed knowledge of design methods on 2D and 3D design platforms
- Practical engineering knowledge in metallic & composite manufacturing techniques & treatment processes
- Fluent working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Practical knowledge of CATIA Union
