About the role

As an Associate Manufacturing Engineer, you will implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects, develop and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies, and systems, and create manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes. You will interface with engineering to coordinate the release of new products, estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements. Additionally, you will maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects
• Design, develop, and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies, and systems
• Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes
• Interface with engineering in coordinating the release of new products
• Estimate manufacturing costs and determine time standards
• Make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
• Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• OR have completed a Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age

Skills

• Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing
• AutoCAD and/or Pro-E
• Six Sigma
• Technical writing
• MS Project and/or MS SharePoint

Schedule

9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off.
