About the Role

The Associate Production Manager contributes to the seasonal production process by assisting with the placement, execution, and follow-up of manufacturing orders and ensuring the timely delivery of quality, profitable goods.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and coordinate all aspects from material data management, production placement to arrival into distribution centers.
  • Work within the team’s process and suggest improvements where applicable.
  • Interact with departments such as design, merchandising, finance, operations, logistics, and warehouse teams.
  • Access IBT system to validate and push materials to SAP.
  • Perform daily tracking of goods on order, in progress (WIP), and in-transit to ensure timely delivery according to the development calendar; create and distribute production status reports.
  • Follow up with vendors, factories, and Design/Merchandising as needed.
  • Partner with merchandisers to confirm accuracy of size breaks, tickets, and item information communicated to our China office and vendors.
  • Create, revise, input, and maintain production orders; monitor transmission to factories; file and maintain records of purchase orders (POs).
  • Receive and track all pre-production samples and stock deliveries.
  • Track non-compliance/claims chargebacks with vendors, where appropriate.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team as needed.
  • Build collaborative relationships with vendors and internal customers.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant experience in jewelry production and sourcing.
  • Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team-oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail-oriented and meticulous.
  • Basic knowledge of jewelry manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Pivot Tables.

Pay

Salary Range: $66,300 - $72,000. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate and is tailored based on factors such as educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other relevant factors. Base salary is part of a total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, annual bonus, and other sponsored benefit programs.
