NML Medical in West Carrollton, Ohio, a subsidiary of Globus Medical Inc., manufactures a wide range of implants for spinal and orthopedic applications and the instrumentation cases that house them. Responsibilities

• Manage the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet performance, schedule, quality, cost, and budget objectives.
• Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
• Maintain stable workflow processes and oversee production performance metrics/results.
• Develop schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• Plan for and support the department’s future needs and operations.
• Support engagement and collaboration efforts across cross-functional teams, including engineering, group managers, customers, and other departments as needed.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Provide support for continued organizational growth by recruiting, selecting, and onboarding new operators.
• Follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for solving problems.
• Implement changes to receive optimal results from production performance metrics.
• Adhere to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.
• Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform effectively in environments with frequent workload changes and competing demands.
• Engage in regular coaching and leadership development of direct reports.
• Basic understanding of MS Office software, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Business, analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Perform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485.
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Physical Demands

• Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Required to possess specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and capacity to adjust focus.
