About the Performance Marketing Team
The Performance Marketing Team at Agoda is a world leader in online marketing. Responsibilities
- Set marketing strategy for Flights verticals (outside of pricing)
- Spearhead the development, execution, and optimization strategy for growing Agoda’s Flights business across different channels
- Conduct end-to-end analysis of large, complex datasets related to channel performance, user behavior, and market trends, translating raw data into actionable insights
- Develop hypotheses, design experiments (e.g., A/B tests), and build structured analyses to rigorously evaluate campaign effectiveness and drive data-driven decisions for channel growth
- Partner closely with various business functions, especially Marketing Accommodation, Flights product, and flights supply, to identify opportunities, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets using techniques and tools such as SQL or Tableau
- Communicate complex findings, performance updates, and strategic recommendations clearly and concisely to key stakeholders, including senior management
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in a Data Analyst role or in projects involving big data, preferably in tech, e-commerce, or digital marketing
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economics, or Finance (or related field)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, translate it into actionable insights, and generate impactful recommendations
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools and data warehouses, including SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel
- Innovative problem-solving skills: ability to tackle complex challenges in a non-linear fashion, navigate the organization to gather necessary information, and implement creative solutions while adapting to evolving scenarios
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication abilities, with proficiency in creating impactful and visually appealing presentations
- Strong stakeholder management skills: ability to communicate, influence, and persuade across different levels of stakeholders, including senior management, with proven commercial acumen
Nice to have
- Experience in digital or social media marketing
- Experience with hypothesis testing frameworks, statistical analysis, and using Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
