About the role
The B2B Pricing team sits within B2B Marketing and partners with Product, Commercial, Finance, and Data Science to define, test, and scale strategies that drive sustainable growth and profitability for Agoda and its partners. The team combines deep analytical rigor with an experimentation mindset to optimize across marketing levers—primarily pricing—and advise on growth across B2B2C channels.
As Associate Manager/Manager, B2B Pricing & Growth Strategy, you will own pricing strategy and execution while acting as a consultative, data‑driven advisor to B2B2C growth initiatives. You’ll translate commercial goals into testable pricing and marketing levers, design measurement, and lead cross‑functional rollouts that improve business outcomes. You will work closely with the commercial organization and cross‑functional stakeholders, serving as a go‑to partner for pricing and growth decisions for key partners such as large loyalty programs, marketplaces, and digital wallets (e.g., Rakuten or Paytm).
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve pricing strategies, segmentation, and marketing actions for partners.
- Lead the experimentation roadmap (A/B and multivariate tests), including hypotheses, success metrics, and decision frameworks.
- Build marketing roadmaps and analyses (elasticity, cannibalization, incrementality) to advise relevant marketing actions.
- Act as a consultative growth advisor to partner teams: co‑create joint plans, model impact/P&L, align OKRs, and operationalize execution across channels.
- Build playbooks to scale winning strategies across markets and partners; document learnings and institutionalize best practices.
- Create Tableau dashboards and crisp executive narratives that synthesize performance, insights, and recommendations; drive action in weekly/monthly reviews.
- Manage relationships with external partners including strategic presentations.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a data‑driven role, revenue/growth, marketing, strategy, or analytics roles in e‑commerce, travel, or tech.
- Consulting experience is a strong plus.
- Strong business acumen and structured problem‑solving; ability to frame trade‑offs, model scenarios, and influence decisions with clear “so‑what.”
- Fluency with data: advanced Excel, SQL, and Tableau; comfort with large datasets and experiment readouts.
- Practical experience with controlled experiments.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication; able to simplify complex analyses for senior and partner audiences and drive alignment.
- High ownership and bias for action; thrive in an ambiguous, fast‑paced, test‑and‑learn environment.
- BA/BS in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
Qualifications
- Building decision frameworks in production.
- Background in management consulting or internal strategy (e.g., growth, pricing, or partnerships).
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus; we value equivalent operating experience and measurable outcomes.
- Familiarity with Python/R for modeling and scaling analysis.
- Domain exposure to B2B channels, partner/affiliate programs, or wholesale/whitelabel constructs.
