What You'll Do
- Drive daily production output, yield, and quality targets for various processes like: Czochralski crystal pulling, diamond wire saw slicing, texturing, wafer cleaning, thin film deposition, screen printing, and laser operations
- Supervise and develop a team of technicians across multiple shifts
- Own shift handover processes, ensuring clear communication of priorities, issues, and safety items
- Partner with process and equipment engineers to resolve process issues
- Track and report key production metrics including safety, quality and throughput
- Enforce safety protocols and lead incident investigations to root cause and corrective action
- Manage headcount planning, scheduling, and cross-training to maintain operational flexibility
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop technician skills through structured coaching, performance feedback, and hands-on training
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of manufacturing operations management in semiconductor ingot, wafer or cell manufacturing
- Experience leading or supervising hourly production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with some of the following processes: Czochralski crystal pulling, diamond wire saw slicing, texturing, wafer cleaning, thin film deposition, screen printing, and laser operations
- Strong understanding of production metrics including yield, machine availability, OEE, and cycle time
- Proven ability to drive accountability and performance across a shift-based workforce
- Experience with safety management systems, incident reporting, and root cause analysis
- Ability and willingness to work cross-functionally with engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
- Capability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
