About the role
As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Agoda's digital travel platform. You will be responsible for enhancing user experiences through innovative solutions and ensuring that all aspects of the platform meet high standards of quality and performance.Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and frontend developers to deliver high-quality features.
- Optimize existing systems to improve performance and reduce latency.
- Implement automated testing strategies to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall codebase improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software development.
- Experience with modern web technologies such as JavaScript, React, Node.js, and RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of database management systems and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration tools.
- Understanding of security best practices and experience with security protocols.
