What You'll Do

  • Perform valuations of renewable energy projects for project finance, tax, financial reporting, and portfolio valuation purposes.
  • Participate in client or management meetings providing substantive input on valuation methodologies, assumptions, and conclusions.
  • Prepare comprehensive deliverables and supporting analysis including presentations, analysis packets, and written narrative reports that are submitted for review by our senior level professionals and delivered to our clients.
  • Use AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve research, analysis, and deliverable preparation while following firm standards.

What You Bring

  • 0-2 years of relevant internship or professional experience.
  • 4-year degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Foundational understanding of financial theory, economics, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a genuine interest in renewable energy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to build organized analyses and clearly document workpapers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize findings clearly and professionally.
  • A high attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a willingness to ask thoughtful questions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and respond effectively to feedback.
  • A self-motivated work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and accountability for work quality.
  • A professional presence and ability to build productive relationships with clients, colleagues, and leadership.
  • Coursework, internship, or project experience involving valuation and renewable energy is preferred but not required.
  • Work toward professional designations such as ASA and/or CFA.
  • Familiarity with or interest in using AI tools and technology to improve productivity, research, and analysis.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
