Associate Machine Operator- Shipper 7:00am-3:00pm

Job Description

The primary purpose of this job is to perform clerical and physical tasks for shipments. Has responsibility for oversight of international shipments.

• Inputs data into database in an accurate and timely manner
• Performs entries into Oracle inventory systems
• Inspects shipments prior to leaving plant for paperwork accuracy and safe loading
• Makes recommendations on day-to-day operations, safety issues and improvements
• Maintains quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods
• Prepares shipments and completes paperwork for outbound freight
• Routes materials to proper departments
• Performs other functions as required

• Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum Experience: 0-2 years related work experience
