Associate Machine Operator - PMO 3rd Shift
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate various manual and CNC machines that are already set up and the process is clearly defined.
- Follow written and verbal instructions, read basic blueprints or mechanical drawings after instruction.
- Navigate machining or manufacturing problems to produce defect-free parts.
- Accurately perform measurement tasks utilizing measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Learn and perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment and machines as required.
Work Experience Requirements
- Previous experience with basic metrology (calipers, micrometers) preferred.
- Basic blueprint reading experience preferred.
Knowledge Requirements
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Read basic blueprints or mechanical drawings.
- Use shop math.
- Operate various types of production machines.
- Produce parts at the rate established for a particular operation.
- Accurately use basic machine shop measuring devices.
