About the role
Clyde & Co US LLP is seeking a litigation associate with up to 10 years of experience to join our growing litigation and insurance coverage practice in Seattle.
Responsibilities
- Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide coverage advice to clients.
- Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.
- Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, supporting briefs, and legal correspondence regarding insurance coverage litigation.
- Meet and confer with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
- Take a proactive role in managing matters, deadlines, and communication with clients.
Requirements
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Admitted to practice in WA and in good standing with the bar.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- The ability to simultaneously handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- An interest in insurance coverage and coverage litigation matters.
Qualifications

Pay
The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $200,000. The range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
