Associate Large Loss Adjuster
Plymouth Rock Assurance is looking for a General Adjuster to evaluate, price, and settle personal property losses for all homeowner claims, including water, theft, vandalism, and fire. You will enhance our process and culture with your insight and experience as part of a fast-moving team.
Responsibilities
- Field adjustment and management of homeowners property claims
- Onsite inspection and scoping of property
- Coverage and policy analysis, damage assessment, and settlement of 1st party property claims
- Provide technical guidance, direction, and first-in-class customer service for homeowner property cases
- Ensure timely and appropriate claim reserves in accordance with best practices standards
- Maintain regulatory compliance and claims best practices while meeting targets for service, loss mitigation, productivity, and expense management
- Ensure prompt determination of coverage and payment of claims in accordance with quality standards
Requirements
- A minimum of 5-8 years of homeowners adjusting experience
- Comprehensive understanding of Connecticut and New York claim handling compliance regulations
- Comprehensive understanding of property homeowner policy and claims process
- Mastery of Xactimate 28
- Familiarity with water mitigation auditing programs preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with policyholders and outside vendors
- Excellent writing skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Ability to obtain licensure in other states if requested
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
Pay
The pay range for this position is $89,500 to $127,500 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
