Associate, Investment
OMnet is a wholly owned subsidiary of Omnicom Media, founded in late 2013. Operating at the intersection of media and finance, OMnet functions as a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) within Omnicom Media, specializing in principal-based media buying and investments. Through its investments and strategic commercial partnerships with media, technology, and data providers, OMnet creates a private ecosystem of cost-effective, data-driven media solutions available exclusively to Omnicom clients. OMnet investments are guaranteed and made upfront using Omnicom capital, assuming all financial risk associated with its partnerships. The platform provides Omnicom’s 125+ clients with cost-savings benefits on their media spend, totaling over $250 million in client savings from inception to date.
About the Role
The Investment Associate will be assigned to one of four team pods within the OMnet Investment Division and will primarily handle stewardship, execution, and support across an assigned client roster. Each team pod consists of 10-12 individuals, and each client roster includes 15-30 accounts across various category verticals. This is an omni-channel role, covering campaign execution across multiple media disciplines, with a focus on Linear Television and Digital media, as well as exposure to Audio, OOH, Print, Social, and Local media buying and execution.
The Associate reports directly to a Senior Associate, working closely with them to support media campaign stewardship, including performance reporting, system entry, and billing reconciliation. Additional responsibilities include assisting with media plan development, execution, and negotiation, as well as training and coaching team members to ensure best-in-class media outputs. The role also involves building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and serving as a trusted advisor for the investment process.
