About the role
The Associate Inventory Manager supports the General Manager/Assistant General Manager in leading store personnel, managing inventory, meeting key performance metrics, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role upholds regulatory compliance while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain store inventory, ensuring accuracy in reporting
- Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state-specific regulations
- Review, communicate, and enforce company SOPs, including updates to staff
- Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts in partnership with management
- Perform system adjustments, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Act as a key-holding supervisor for opening/closing procedures and staff supervision
- Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
- Resolve patient issues and escalations professionally
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance in all operations
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Prior management experience, preferably in retail or customer service
- Cash handling experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism; ability to maintain confidentiality
- Conversational English proficiency for effective communication with customers and team members
- Ability to operate electronic equipment (computer, scanner, printer, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR background check (for delivery locations)
- Must pass level 1 and level 2 background checks
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to work independently, with flexibility and personal integrity
Physical Requirements
- Constantly move throughout the facility, including tight spaces
- Accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information with the public and team members
- Frequently manipulate objects of varying sizes/weights (push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs.)
- Ascend/descend stools, ladders, or steps; position self at floor level (crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl)
- Visual and auditory acuity (with or without aids) to perform all job functions
- Occasionally remain seated for extended periods
Schedule
Up to 40 hours weekly, with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay
$19.00 an hour
