Associate Instructor

Job Summary

The Department of World Languages and Cultures (WLC) at the University of Utah invites applications for a part-time Associate Instructor to teach first-year Korean during the Fall 2026 semester.

Duties

• Teach KOREA 1010-001 on Mon/Wed 9:40am-11:20am
• Assign and grade homework, quizzes, and tests
• Mentoring is provided

Qualifications

• MA or other professional degree in Korean or Foreign Language Teaching or related area
• Korean teaching experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Korean
• Fluency in English

Preferences

• Special Instructions: This is a non-benefitted position.
• Salary is based on classroom enrollment with a guaranteed base of $4,200 per course and increases incrementally per pupil.
