About the role

The Associate Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible to assist in aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. The successful Associate HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent in support of key business strategies.

Job Responsibilities/Results

  • Aid in employee relations issues and questions
  • Assist in rollout and maintenance of HR programs and practices
  • Evaluate, progress and guide adjustments during organizational change
  • Diagnose and help managers diagnose performance problems
  • Ensure clear performance expectations throughout the department(s) supported
  • Introduce performance management processes, practices, tools and metrics
  • Identify "high priority" retention needs
  • Follow best practices and policies to retain talent
  • Identify individual, and departmental training and learning needs
  • Execute internal HR processes with assigned client groups
  • Conduct exit interviews of all voluntary terminations
  • Conduct employee relation investigations
  • Participate in any involuntary termination
  • Facilitate trainings, presentations and meetings when necessary
  • Partner with other areas of HR (total rewards, recruiting, Training & Development, etc.) to streamline processes and encourage collaboration
  • Partner with HRBP on: Help ensure alignment of structure, governance, and policies with organizational strategy, Help develop change and communication plans for assigned managers, Help leaders/managers determine if/how to introduce change, Partner with business to map work-flow and processes, Support leaders and teams tasked with re-design, Support the development of "balanced scorecards" and other metrics for teams and business units, Other key initiatives directed by manager

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field; Certification by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) preferred; 2-5 years of related experience; Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred; Experience in all areas of HR is preferred; Experience working at all levels of the company; executive to associate level
  • Knowledge / Technical Requirements: Strong understanding of employment law and compliance; knowledge of OFCCP, AA, Wage and Hour, FLSA, Non-Compete/Non-Solicit, NDA's and other relevant topics related to Human Resources
  • Competencies, Skills & Abilities: Strength with Organizational Design, and Employee Relations; Must be able to manage and prioritize competing demands; accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being adaptable and flexible; Exceptional communication and presentation skills, interpersonal, and written

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $ 64,680 - $82,950 / year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
