About the role

Deliver core HR support while beginning to proactively partner with leaders on talent and organizational needs. Translate business objectives into people actions and insights, with guidance from HR leadership. Serve as a developing HR Business Partner for small-client groups.

Essential Functions And Primary Duties

  • Understand the business and the needed human capital strategies for results
  • Partner with business leaders to support execution of talent strategies aligned to business goals
  • Identify and surface workforce trends, risks, and opportunities (turnover, engagement, performance)
  • Support and begin to facilitate talent processes (performance management, 9-box, succession planning)
  • Provide day-to-day employee relations guidance, escalating complex matters appropriately to Sr. HRD
  • Partner with leaders on recruiting and organizational effectiveness (team structure, role clarity, onboarding effectiveness)
  • Support workforce planning efforts including hiring plans, internal mobility, and retention strategies
  • Contribute to change management efforts tied to business or organizational shifts
  • Execute recruitment, onboarding, and HR program delivery with increasing independence
  • Ensure compliance with policies and employment regulations
  • Build credibility as a trusted advisor for front-line and mid-level leaders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-4+ years of progressive HR experience (Generalist background required)
  • PHR/SPHR preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide insights, not just report activity
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to balance execution with emerging strategic thinking
  • Proficient in HR systems and technology

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of progressive HR experience with a generalist foundation
  • Emerging consulting and influencing skills
  • Strong communication and relationship building capability
  • Analytical thinking and ability to surface workforce insights
  • Ability to translate business needs into HR actions
  • Proficiency with HR systems and workforce data tools
