About the role

The Associate Hospital Sales Health & Science Representative (AHSHR) is responsible for increasing product awareness, educating customers, and attaining business unit goals through virtual customer interactions. The role involves relationship development and promotional efforts with U.S. customers and accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers virtually to grow the business and drive product demand by providing solutions to meet business objectives and needs.
  • Generate product demand by educating customers and promoting the product.
  • Build rapport with customers in a virtual environment; develop a methodical approach to calls, manage to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and adapt based on opportunities and insights.
  • Use approved promotional materials and Pfizer resources to support customers, accounts, and patients' needs, and work effectively across multiple virtual engagement platforms based on customer preferences and compliance guidelines.
  • Integrate guidance and insights from management, other support roles, and technical solutions into pre-call planning; plan and optimize call environments based on personal and customer schedules; collaborate with other Customer-Facing (CF) colleagues and Associate Hospital Sales team members.
  • Master and utilize all virtual tools and resources; effectively use calendaring tools, leadership goals, and personal insights to address customer priorities on outbound calls.
  • Support customers or accounts on relevant contract value opportunities and virtual in-services on ready-to-use delivery systems. Answer on-label questions.
  • Apply triaging protocols to create connections with appropriate subject matter experts (SMEs) using digital apps for rapid responses; use warm transfers for real-time hand-offs to cross-functional experts with some limitations.
  • Stay current with required training, including Compliance, and enhance skills through self-study, development programs, conferences, and training classes at local and remote locations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 0-3 years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with four years of relevant experience; OR six years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Goal-oriented individual with a strong desire to be in a promotional role; have core skills of customer service orientation, initiative, planning and follow-up, work management, and judgment/problem-solving.
  • Able to be on telephone or other virtual platforms for a full working day and speak clearly and effectively to all assigned customers.
  • Demonstrated digital acumen.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to analyze and draw relevant conclusions using available data and information.
  • Change agility; accountability; takes/seeks feedback; the ability to be connected to others; remote collaboration with cross-functional internal teams.
  • Marketplace and business acumen, stakeholder management; understanding of business priorities.
  • Exceptional time management skills; intrinsically productive and scheduled, even in the absence of direct management oversight.

  • Annual base salary ranging from $64,700 to $121,800 with an additional quarterly Sales Incentive bonus.
