Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in Program Design
- Strategic planning, roster size, event group size / management, scholarship allocation, assignment of administrative duties.
- Annual assessment of all areas of the program.
- Aid in Budget Management
- Ensure proper use of university resources towards the performance, experience, and retention of student-athletes.
- Lead in organizing, ordering, and issuing all apparel, practice, and competition equipment.
- Design and implement training groups for one or more events.
- Plan and execute competitions.
- Plan and execute practices.
- Recruit prospective student-athletes.
- Facilitate the enrollment of talented student-athletes and maintain a roster minimum for specific event areas.
- Support the human formational dimensions of the program.
- Support student-athlete academic support.
- Manage home competitions.
- Arrange competition travel.
- Organize program and facility equipment.
- Manage social media.
- Assist in alumni engagement and fundraising.
- Assist in any of the following: official visits, travel per diem, CARA hours, and others as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Successful coaching experience required
- The Associate Head Coach must adhere to all NCAA, Metro, and University policies with regard to recruiting, eligibility, reporting, and sportsmanship.
Pay
Target Salary: $60,000/year (Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.)
