Job Description

Our client is the world's largest intimates' specialty retailer offering a wide assortment of modern, fashion-inspired collections including signature bras, panties, lingerie, casual sleepwear, swim and athleisure, as well as award-winning prestige fragrances and body care.

Role

The Associate Designer will work with the Senior Designer on product graphics across all categories.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Senior Designer in the creation of brand-right, commercial designs that reflect the conceptual direction/business strategy.
  • Create seasonal graphics and icons from concept to execution for all categories and special product launches.
  • Research and develop elevated graphic and surface techniques to push innovation.
  • Use seasonal color palettes in graphic concepts to effectively provide color direction for cross functional partners.
  • Assist Print team with creating seasonal assets for prints and patterns.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to create branded, trims, elastics, and hardware across all categories of apparel, intimates, sleep, and accessories.
  • Maintain organization of seasonal branding requests and libraries utilizing tools such as InDesign, Smartsheet, and file servers.
  • Create and edit presentations for seasonal concepts, branding, and special projects.
  • Partner with Surface, Print, and CAD teams to archive graphics for production.
  • Understand the client visual DNA and use of graphic assets as it relates to products, branding, and packaging.
  • Local shopping trips and campus visits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years graphic design experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe CC programs for Mac OS including Illustrator, InDesign, & Photoshop.
  • CAD and packaging/apparel graphics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and digital communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with typographic layouts and file naming/organization.

Skills

  • Illustration skills are a plus.
