Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on US and global IP laws for business and legal teams
  • Integrate IP protection into product and process design collaboratively
  • Create innovative legal solutions supporting new AI products and customer experiences
  • Assist in the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements related to IP and AI

Qualifications

  • At least 8+ years of in-house and law firm experience, managing an IP portfolio and providing product counseling
  • Proficient in strategic thinking and complex problem-solving with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate legal risks clearly to non-legal audiences
  • Team-oriented with a low-ego approach and readiness to collaborate
  • Strong interest in artificial intelligence, generative AI, and machine learning
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills
  • JD and a member in good standing with the California bar
