Associate General Counsel - Labor & Employment
About the role
For our client, we are seeking an Associate General Counsel - Labor & Employment to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will provide legal guidance on labor and employment matters across a complex healthcare organization. The attorney will partner closely with internal stakeholders to manage risk, support day-to-day business decisions, and help ensure compliance with applicable employment laws in a multi-state environment. This position also involves coordinating outside counsel, handling sensitive investigations and disputes, and supporting the broader legal team through research, negotiation, and knowledge sharing. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to enterprise entities
- Collaborate with attorneys and business partners
- Manage and delegate to outside counsel
- Conduct legal research and witness interviews
- Negotiate legal documents and agreements
- Attend mediations and depositions as needed
- Participate in team training and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- Licensed Attorney with a Juris Doctor degree
- Minimum 2 years of legal experience in-house or at a law firm
- Familiarity with federal and state employment laws
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with multi-state employment matters preferred

Pay
Compensation: $113,000 – $144,000 annually
