Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel to senior leadership on business objectives and risk management
- Lead complex legal assignments and deliver effective solutions
- Communicate legal positions clearly in both verbal and written formats
- Collaborate proactively to mitigate organizational risks
- Monitor and analyze changes in laws, advising leadership on potential impacts
- Mentor and guide junior attorneys and colleagues in legal best practices
- Manage outside counsel to ensure quality legal representation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school required
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in one state or a territory of the USA
- 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 7 years as a practicing attorney
- Strong collaboration and influence skills with stakeholders
