Associate General Counsel, Commercial

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within an operationally complex logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements with government entities and partners
• Support daily commercial contracting activities and internal legal requests
• Assist with public-sector procurement agreements and compliance
• Partner with internal teams to ensure efficient contract execution
• Identify and escalate legal risks within agreements
• Interpret and negotiate key contract provisions
• Support ongoing contract administration and compliance tracking

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Approximately 12+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably involving commercial contracting
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
• Preferred familiarity with public procurement concepts and government contracting requirements
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional business stakeholders

Pay

$120,000 – $150,000 annually
