Associate General Counsel

Responsibilities

• Manage diverse litigation and pre-litigation matters, particularly in restrictive covenants and insurance issues
• Lead litigation strategy and serve as the main contact for outside counsel across different jurisdictions
• Issue cease-and-desist letters and support litigation strategies related to employment
• Oversee investigations into E&O and broker/agency errors and coordinate with involved parties
• Draft and review litigation holds and ensure compliance within deadlines
• Prepare regular updates on litigation and claims for executive leadership
• Assess potential legal exposures for the company's various business lines

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one state
• 3+ years of litigation experience, either at a law firm or in-house
• Experience in insurance defense and restrictive covenants is highly preferred
• Prior experience in employment law is a plus
• Familiarity with Smartsheets and Claude is a plus

Pay

$120,000 – $150,000 annually
