Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and approving customer agreements, NDAs, channel/partner agreements, etc.
• Establish and maintain contract templates, playbooks, approval frameworks, and negotiation guidelines to drive consistency and efficiency.
• Advise business leaders on contractual risk, liability allocation, indemnification, data protection obligations, and commercial terms.
• Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Product, and Security to align contract terms with business strategy and operational requirements.
• Support ongoing improvements to legal processes, systems, and tooling to enable efficiency and scale.
• Serve as the company’s primary legal owner of data privacy compliance.
• Design, implement, and maintain the company’s data privacy framework, including compliance with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable global privacy regulations.
• Oversee data protection policies, procedures, and documentation, including privacy notices, data processing agreements, and internal guidelines.
• Advise the business on data handling practices, vendor risk, etc.
• Partner with Security, IT, and Product teams while maintaining appropriate independence and legal oversight for privacy governance.
