Associate, Fund/Client Accounting I

About the role

This role is located in Lake Mary, Florida. In this role, you’ll make an impact by:

• Reviewing data and assisting in resolving escalated problems.
• Tracking data and maintaining accounting records for funds of higher complexity.
• Establishing data maintenance and summarization processes to improve team efficiency.
• Leading the team in preparing system-generated reports, coordinating their review, and sharing reports with accounting teams.
• Reviewing the work of junior team members.
• Aiding in maintaining relationships with client staff, exchanging information regarding cash, accounting, and reporting of daily and monthly client activities and initiatives.
• Communicating data needs and answering client questions.
• Assisting in identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce audit and financial exposure and improve team efficiency.
• Supporting the achievement of team objectives.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, we're seeking:

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of total work experience preferred, with experience in accounting support preferred.
• No direct reports; may have work allocation and team lead responsibilities.
