Associate Fund Accountant

About the Role

We are hiring Fund Accountants for our Denver office. In this role, you’ll calculate the daily Net Asset Value (NAV) of investment funds, ensuring accurate and timely fund pricing for clients. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze financial data, resolve discrepancies, and maintain precise fund records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fund reports for clients, including cash forecasts, NAVs, yields, distributions, reconciliations, and other accounting outputs.
• Update and review trading activity, general ledger entries, and fund pricing.
• Prepare and reconcile trial balances for assigned funds and verify fund records against custodians and transfer agents.
• Review complex investments, such as international, fixed income, or derivative securities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of mutual funds is a plus.
• High attention to detail and ability to learn quickly in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Willingness to work on-site a minimum of 6 days per month (hybrid schedule).

Pay

Colorado: The expected base salary for this position ranges from $19.23 USD/hour to $33.65 USD/hour.
