About the role
4A Consulting is seeking a Full Stack Application Developer to design, develop, integrate, and enhance enterprise applications supporting workforce management, financial operations, project accounting, and business process automation. The ideal candidate will work across front-end development, backend services, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, workflow automation, reporting, and third-party integrations, with the ability to take features from requirements through production deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, responsive, enterprise-grade web applications.
- Develop secure and scalable REST APIs, backend services, and system integrations.
- Design and optimize relational databases, data models, queries, and stored procedures.
- Implement configurable business rules, approval workflows, notifications, validations, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Develop operational dashboards, KPIs, reports, and financial analytics.
- Integrate applications with accounting platforms, Microsoft technologies, cloud services, and other enterprise systems.
- Build reliable data import/export, reconciliation, audit trail, and transaction-validation capabilities.
- Develop AI-enabled features and API/LLM integrations where applicable.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Develop unit, integration, regression, and API tests.
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD, release management, security reviews, and performance optimization.
- Maintain technical documentation for application architecture, APIs, integrations, and production changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience developing full-stack web applications.
- Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Experience developing backend applications and services using .NET/C#, Node.js, Python, or comparable technologies.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, API integration, and service-oriented application development.
- Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases, including data modeling, queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, RBAC, application security, and secure development practices.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, debugging, logging, monitoring, and production deployment.
- Understanding of modern software engineering principles, reusable component design, and scalable application architecture.
- Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot technical problems, and independently drive assigned features through completion.
- Strong communication, documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Storage, Key Vault, Entra ID, and Application Insights.
- Experience building cloud-native or Azure-hosted enterprise applications.
- Experience with API gateways, asynchronous/background processing, scheduled jobs, queues, or event-driven architectures.
- Experience integrating third-party SaaS, accounting, ERP, HR, workforce, or other enterprise platforms.
- Experience implementing dashboards, analytics, reporting, or data visualization capabilities.
- Experience with AI/LLM APIs, intelligent automation, or AI-assisted application functionality.
- Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Understanding of audit trails, approval governance, data security, financial controls, and enterprise compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting applications across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Exposure to containerization, infrastructure automation, or other modern cloud engineering practices is a plus.
