About the role
Join our Corporate Financial Reporting (CFR) team and support the preparation and delivery of financial information used for management decision-making, regulatory reporting, and reporting to Tokio Marine HCC's parent company in Japan.
Responsibilities
- Aid in preparing and supporting internal and external financial reporting for Executive Management, the Board of Directors, regulators, rating agencies, and the parent company.
- Prepare, maintain, reconcile, and document recurring financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and identify unusual results.
- Collaborate with business units and corporate departments to gather information for consolidated reporting.
- Support external and internal audit requests by preparing accurate documentation and explanations.
- Aid in the development, maintenance, testing, and documentation of automated reports.
- Explore and leverage automation, reporting technologies, and AI tools to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and streamline financial reporting processes.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Experience: Up to two years of relevant and progressive professional experience in Accounting preferred.
- Skills: Experience using reporting, data analysis, or automation tools preferred. Familiarity with generative AI or AI-assisted productivity tools preferred.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Experience: Up to two years of relevant and progressive professional experience in Accounting preferred.
