About the role
This Associate Advisor position is for someone looking to grow in the industry as you support and partner with a group of seasoned Advisors. You will work to support and deepen relationships with a very large existing customer base. The Advisor is responsible for working with customers to help determine the best way to serve the customers' best interest with investment products and financial services Cetera offers. With a strong focus on customer service and sales, the Advisor should be a true “people person” who enjoys developing professional and mutually beneficial relationships with a wide variety of customers. We will fully support you with an open product platform and resources in the financial industry so you can nurture relationships with customers.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze information regarding customer risk tolerance, long- and short-term goals, income, assets, investments, and debts; determine which products best meet the customer needs and circumstances.
- Advise the customer regarding the advantages, risks, and disadvantages of different investment opportunities.
- Develop internal referral resources to identify existing customers.
- Understand and comply with all aspects of Cetera policies and practices, including laws and regulations governing the duties and responsibilities of product sales.
- Maintain all necessary licenses and registrations as required.
- Successfully complete all mandatory training in a timely manner.
- Maintain superior and courteous service to promote Cetera and expand customer relationships.
- Exceed customer expectations in terms of accuracy, efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism.
Requirements
- FINRA Series 6 or 7
- State Life & Health Insurance License
- 1+ years of sales, marketing, and business development skills
- 1+ years of experience with investments, insurance, and/or advisory relationships
Qualifications

Pay
The base annual salary for this role is $55,500, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on factors including skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
