Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more processes, projects, or procedures within Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Provide well-analyzed recommendations on process improvements and influence FP&A policies, practices, and procedures.
• Develop, improve, and independently manage processes (reporting, projects, systems, procedures, or products) within FP&A.
• Enhance financial understanding of business lines, products, and segments to aid reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Recommend industry and peer data sources to enhance reporting with benchmarks for business cases.
• Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals to execute financial management functions.
• Implement solutions to existing problems and deliver well-analyzed financial forecasts to support strategic direction and budget.
• Exchange facts, statuses, ideas, and issues to inform and stay informed.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing functional and technical guidance to the team and leadership to other project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education (Required).
• Master’s Degree in a related field or equivalent (Preferred).
• 5+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience in the Banking or Financial Services Industry (Required).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey urgency and drive projects to closure.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling with analytical, qualitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships at all management levels.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Strong experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to communicate complex financial transactions and strategies effectively.
• Ability to interact with market, executive management, and vendors.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to research, organize, and analyze financial data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $75,000.00 to $125,000.00 USD annually.
