Associate Financial Analyst

About the role

This position is responsible for providing solid financial support to management, impacting the quality and effectiveness of the company's financial plans and business decisions. The goal is to ensure the organization has the tools and knowledge necessary to make sound financial and business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed monthly financial reporting.
• Analyze performance and profitability of business units and products.
• Assist in the coordination and preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Understand financial aspects of the business and assist with departmental process improvements requiring financial expertise.
• Perform ad hoc analysis as requested.
• Develop and present performance reports to management to enable leveraging and maximizing financial results.
• Prepare monthly accounting accruals.
• Work with management to set and achieve goals, assisting in the development and input of assumptions for forecasts and budgets.

Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (four years of college).
• Experience analyzing monthly financial results and performing in-depth financial analysis.
• Experience in the preparation of monthly accounting accruals.
• Proficient with PCs for analysis and modeling, with in-depth Excel spreadsheet knowledge.
• Understanding of revenue and expense accounting.

Pay

$60,000 – $84,000 per year.
