Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will supervise a multidisciplinary team, participate in ICU rounds, and operate in the operating room. Responsibilities also include integral involvement in clinical research based on patient volumes and acuity. Leadership opportunities within the unit are available.
Requirements
- Board-certified surgeon
- Seeking additional training in burn/trauma/surgical critical care
- Experience in clinical research preferred
- Strong interest or background in clinical research
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Residency in surgery completed
- Current medical license in good standing
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong interest in clinical research
