The CTC Engineering Division specializes in transforming cutting-edge technologies into real-world solutions. The Associate Engineering Lab Analyst is an entry-level position that provides foundational technical support to senior engineering staff.
Responsibilities
- Technical Support
- Assist senior engineering staff with basic technical tasks and analyses.
- Conduct routine data collection, testing, and documentation under supervision.
- Support the preparation of technical reports and presentations.
- Project Assistance
- Perform assigned tasks related to project planning and execution.
- Follow established procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of lab activities, test results, and project progress.
- Ensure documentation adheres to organizational and DoD standards.
- Provide input for project deliverables as directed by senior staff.
- Learning and Development
- Participate in training and development opportunities to build technical knowledge.
- Seek guidance from supervisors and senior team members to enhance skills.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and applying new concepts.
- Manager Defined Field
- Provide technical input and testing support to projects in laboratory areas.
- Under supervision, complete testing activities including corrosion, environmental, and mechanical testing.
- Complete laboratory operation duties assigned: inventories, monthly inspections, procedure review, data generation, peer review, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with basic engineering concepts and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to accurately follow directions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a laboratory or technical support role.
- Familiarity with DoD standards and regulations.
- Basic knowledge of engineering software tools (e.g., MATLAB, AutoCAD).
