About the role
United Integrated Services (USA) Corp. is a U.S. subsidiary of United Integrated Services Co., Ltd. (UIS Taiwan), founded in 2020 and 1982 respectively. UIS specializes in engineering and construction services for the high-technology industry, focusing on fully integrated design-build services for manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform requirements classification of clients, communicating project requirements and design review with internal & external design teams for Cleanroom system.
- Perform the required scope of work and clarify specifications with stakeholders.
- Aid procurement team on Cleanroom systems equipment & materials and assist in contractors' awards.
- Understand isometrics, P&ID and CAD drawings specifically for Cleanroom systems.
- Review, approve and oversee the installation of Cleanroom systems.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms with specifications and assure adherence to construction schedules.
- Review progress reports, materials used and costs, contract payment applications, and adjust work schedules as indicated by the reports.
- Respond to RFI (Request for information) and change orders.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal use and client communication.
- Identify and solve problems.
- Schedule and execute projects.
- Review and interpret drawing and review specifications and estimates.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering. 0-3+ years of experience in Cleanroom system planning.
- Construction experience required. Semiconductor construction, a plus.
- Strong understanding of Cleanroom construction processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to use engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or others.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of attention to detail, and highly organized.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
- Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Ability to work in a construction site environment (trailer office).
- Effective English verbal and written communication skills required.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin/Taiwanese is a plus.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and employees.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Nice to have: Start-up experience. Professional Engineer license.
- Additional Requirements: Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.
