Associate Engineer
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with Navigation Electronic system operation, testing and standard maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of special test equipment and simulator setup to support event testing (e.g. ability to follow test equipment procedures).
- Experience with PCs, Laptops, Tablets, and Hand-held computing devices.
- Knowledge of and experience with Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Test Meters.
- Ability to perform both Copper / Fiber building / repair.
Responsibilities
- Support Lab Event Scheduling and Daily Reporting
- Support Lab Equipment and Infrastructure Schedule Maintenance Procedures, installation and removal
- Support Fleet Equipment Return Investigations
- Manage and maintain equipment integrity, configuration, and set up in a classified environment.
- Support Leadership Meetings through status and presentation build
- Review and execute to Program Test plans and procedures
- Be available to support emergent needs should there be a facility shut down or catastrophic failure (e.g. weekends and nights)
- Support internal and external audits (e.g. NAVY and LM ESH)
- Lead and support t LM RMS ESH requirements as site’s main Lab POC.

Desired Skills
- Bachelors degree in an Engineering Discipline with 1+ year of lab and field experience
- Ability to proactively identify process improvement opportunities for existing procedures and departmental operations.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repair.
- Knowledge/experience with Special Test Equipment.
- Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds of material.
- Familiarity with Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) Industry Standards and Best Practices.
