About the role
The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. This role requires combining technical expertise with strong project leadership skills to drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions for clients.
Responsibilities
Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects
Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
Distingushing customer needs into clear technical requirements and mapping them to business outcomes
Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
Contributing to technical documentation and defining documentation standards

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training or certifications
Experience in one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C
Experience in cloud architecture and implementation
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience
AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)
Experience in Data platform implementation
Hands on experience with building data or machine learning pipeline
Experience with one or more relevant tools (SQL, PostgreSQL, Data lake, DynamoDB, Hadoop)
Hands on experience working on large-scale data science/data analytics projects
Experience Implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing, enterprise environments
Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
