Associate Emergency Veterinarian (Hospitalist)

Responsibilities

• Seeing same-day transfers from referring partners.
• Overseeing inpatients across the hospital.
• Updating clients and referral partners on patient status.
• Supporting the ER and surgery with procedures, patient recoveries, records, and communication both to clients and referral partners if needed.
• Working with the hospital leadership team to improve workflow and standard operating procedures.
• Contributing to the ongoing training of clinical team members.
• Acting as a referral partner liaison to strengthen our relationships within the community.

Qualifications

• Primary care practitioner with an interest in specialty medicine.
• Experience in small-animal practice.
• Interest in working in a specialty practice.
