BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • MSEE is a plus.
  • 0-3 years of professional hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Comfort working with: Command-line tools, Technical/debug environments, Strong attention to detail in measurement and data recording, Ability to: Follow structured test procedures, Document test conditions accurately, Strong curiosity and problem-solving mindset, Good organizational and communication skills, Ability to work in a fast-paced debugging environment
  • Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
  • Able to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Background checks are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with: Hardware bring-up, Power measurement, Battery testing
  • Familiarity with: Android debugging tools (ADB), Mobile configuration systems
  • Basic scripting skills: Python, Bash

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support power and battery-life validation (DOU) for next-generation wearable devices.
  • Execute repeatable power and DOU (Days of Use) test procedures on hardware devices.
  • Flash device builds (user-debug / OCB) and configure system settings (MCCLI overrides).
  • Capture and log: Power-rail measurements, Battery performance data.
  • Organize and maintain structured test data and reports.
  • Track test runs in shared systems and flag anomalies early.
  • Collaborate with engineers to: Reproduce bugs/regressions, Validate fixes.
