BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field.
- MSEE is a plus.
- 0-3 years of professional hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Comfort working with: Command-line tools, Technical/debug environments, Strong attention to detail in measurement and data recording, Ability to: Follow structured test procedures, Document test conditions accurately, Strong curiosity and problem-solving mindset, Good organizational and communication skills, Ability to work in a fast-paced debugging environment
- Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
- Able to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Background checks are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with: Hardware bring-up, Power measurement, Battery testing
- Familiarity with: Android debugging tools (ADB), Mobile configuration systems
- Basic scripting skills: Python, Bash
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support power and battery-life validation (DOU) for next-generation wearable devices.
- Execute repeatable power and DOU (Days of Use) test procedures on hardware devices.
- Flash device builds (user-debug / OCB) and configure system settings (MCCLI overrides).
- Capture and log: Power-rail measurements, Battery performance data.
- Organize and maintain structured test data and reports.
- Track test runs in shared systems and flag anomalies early.
- Collaborate with engineers to: Reproduce bugs/regressions, Validate fixes.
